A professor from the College of Dentistry at Alnoor University chaired the committee for a doctoral dissertation defense for a student at the University of Mosul.

Professor Dr. Asma Sadiq Baraka, a faculty member at the College of Dentistry at Alnoor University, chaired the committee for the doctoral defense of Ihsan Faris Saadallah Al-Taqai in the Dental Prosthetics Department at the University of Mosul. His thesis was titled "The Effect of Adding Modified Chitosan on the Physical and Chemical Properties of 3D Printable Acrylic Denture Base Resin."
The thesis focused on the practical application of physical and chemical modification of 3D-printable acrylic resin through a crosslinking strategy. The defense took place on Sunday, August 18, 2024.

The committee included Assistant Professor Dr. Razkar Mohammed Amin, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Asem Said, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Muayed Saadoon, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Ghaleb Sheikho, with supervision and membership from Assistant Professor Dr. Lama Muthafar Anwar Al-Nama and Professor Dr. Fawzi Habib Gabriel.
The thesis was accepted after the necessary modifications were made.
