In Alnoor University, a symposium was held on the human right to a healthy and sustainable environment.

The Department of Basic Dental Sciences at the College of Dentistry in Alnoor University, in cooperation with the Human Rights Division at the University Presidency, held a symposium on Thursday, March 20, 2025, titled (The Human Right to a Healthy and Sustainable Environment). It was supervised by Dr. Rashid Mahmoud Yousif, Director of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the University Presidency, and Assistant Lecturer Qaidar Ahmed Mahmoud, faculty member at the College of Law. Seven research papers were presented in the fields of human health protection and the safeguarding of human rights, delivered by Lecturer Dr. Bashar Shakir Mahmoud, Professor Dr. Hanaa Ihsan Al-Baroudi, Assistant Professor Dr. Fares Ahmed Ismail, Dr. Amer Hadi Abdullah, Dr. Hani Al-Taie, Assistant Lecturer Qaidar Ahmed Mahmoud, Dr. Hossam Mohsen, and Professor Dr. Rashid Mahmoud Yousif.
This symposium is part of a joint scientific activity between Alnoor University and the University of Mosul.
first day, which was Wednesday, March 19, 2025, witnessed the holding of two research sessions at the University of Mosul, during which seven papers were presented.
